Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
Field of Study: A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering, is required.
Other Computer and Software Skills Required: Use of personal computer and standard office equipment.
Experience and Other Skills Required
= Experience in the development of web applications.
= Excellent communication (spoken and written) and collaboration skills.
Other Skills Preferred
= Excellent Software Engineering skills (able to write modular, encapsulated code in JavaScript.)
= Experience in JavaScript, HTML/XHTML,XML, CSS, AJAX.
= Familiarity with JSP tag libraries/Servlets.
= Familiarity with frameworks such as Dojo, prototype.js, and jQuery.
= Working knowledge of Adobe Flex.
= Ability to use tools such as Firebug, Venkman and IE Script Debugger.
= Knowledge of security concepts such as PKI.
Description of Job Duties
= UI Design, Development, testing and deployment (JavaScript.)
= Working towards weekly/bi-weekly deadlines on fast-paced development of high-visibility, high-quality web products.
= Helping the product team in assessing the feasibility and priority of new features.
= Testing regularly scheduled releases.
= Collaborating with server-side programmers to optimize scalability and network efficiency.
= Staying up-to-date with competing and complimentary technologies.
