Audit Manager
As the Audit Manager for our accounting firm, you will supervise and complete engagements, possess a thorough knowledge of the firms policies and procedures and serve as intermediaries between partners, clients and senior accountants by performing the following duties:
• Plan, supervise and complete routine engagements
• Supervise Staff and Senior Accountants, provide feedback and evaluate their progress.
• Assume full responsibility for large audit assignments falling within expertise
• Ensure personnel scheduling, compliance with due dates and monitor time budgets
• Adequately review all working papers and the completed reports to ascertain that both meet firm standards
• Communicate firm policies and technical information to accounting and auditing personnel through individual or group meetings
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will be a licensed CPA with 6 or more years of experience, with a substantial portion of the experience at a public accounting firm in audit. Governmental and Nonprofit experience a plus. Personal car, overtime and travel required. The travel is currently in Texas only.
