Job Description: |
Manages all aspects of the Museum’s membership program. This individual works closely with the Director of Development and Public Services to support the Museum’s membership and development goals and objectives. Manages the museum’s donor database (Results Plus). Coordinates acknowledgement of all membership contributions and assists with donor recognition. Coordinates and trains volunteers to support these objectives. Reports to Director of Development and Public Services; Full-time position, 40 hrs a week with benefits, some evenings and week-ends. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a related field required along with three years experience on the job or in the field with a track record of effectiveness; Experience in nonprofit fundraising and customer service preferred; Excellent organizational, writing, and editing skills; Must work effectively and communicate clearly with staff, public, volunteers and professional contacts, both in person and through other means; Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and meeting deadlines; Ability to work under pressure, often while handling multiple tasks; Knowledge of general office equipment; Experience with fundraising software and database management preferred.
